Having a Waiting List ticket or RAC (Reserve Against Cancellation)
If your ticket is in waiting or RAC list, then if you cancel the ticket 30 minutes before the departure of the train, then Rs 60 will be deducted as cancellation charge. If your ticket is booked in sleeper class, the same if it is AC class. If the ticket is booked in Rs. 65, the remaining amount will be refunded after deducting the cancellation charge of Rs. 65.

GST is also to be paid on cancellation charge but GST is applicable only on AC class tickets, whereas in sleeper class and general class, no GST is applicable and no GST is to be paid in refund.

If you cancel a confirmed ticket within 48 hours and 12 hours before the departure of the train, then 25% of the ticket fare is deducted.
